What We Do!

First: Street Evangelism. Rock of Israel is dedicated to reaching Jewish people with the Good News that their Messiah has come and will soon return! That is our mission! It is that simple! We simply exist to declare that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Jewish Messiah! We select cities with large Jewish populations and go to the downtown areas to meet people as they come and go to work. Obviously, this is not exclusively Jewish Evangelism, for we give tracts to everyone. But, we end up encountering Jewish businessmen and people who have Jewish bosses and coworkers.
Second: State and County Fairs (in cities with large Jewish populations). Again, it isn’t exclusively Jewish people we minister to, but because we wear t-shirts that say “Jesus the Rock of Israel” and have a booth with Jewish jewelry and Judaica (Shofars, Prayer Shawls, books, etc.) it draws Jewish people to our booth.
Third: Education. We go to churches and conventions to teach Christians about how to reach out to their Jewish friends and neighbors. Often Christians are afraid to witness to Jewish people even though scripture tells us to be His witnesses to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the rest of the world.

I am available to speak in Churches, Seminars and Conferences! I share on topics like: Jesus in the Passover (pulpit presentation, Ceremonial Meal or Full Seder with dinner), Jesus in the 7 Feasts, Jesus in the Tabernacle, Jewish Evangelism, Israel in Prophecy, Jesus’ Prayer Shawl, Proofs of the Resurrection, Understanding Jewish People and many more! I travel in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas and other states in the Southern region of the country! If you would like to have me come to your church, please contact me and see what dates are available! I would be honored to minister to you and your congregation! (See Contact Page!)

Let me tell you about the Messianic Passover Seder!

Rock of Israel Ministries presents authentic Passover Seders! These special events are true to the traditional Seder which the Jewish people have celebrated for over 3,500 years but focus on Jesus! He is at the center of  all that is done during the service! Our guide for the Seder is a very special Haggadah (service book) compiled by one of Rock of Israel’s own, Rabbi Warren Frankel!

What is the benefit of having a Passover Seder?
A Passover Seder will cause those in attendance to become more familiar with what happened as Jesus ate the Last Supper with His disciples. It will also help them to learn more about the story of God setting the Children of Israel free from Egyptian bondage. But the greatest benefit will be the fresh perspective of what Jesus, as the Lamb of God, did for us through His suffering, death and resurrection! One thing is guaranteed. Those who attend and partake of the Seder will never take Communion the same again!

Lighting the Passover Candles!

What do I have to do during the Seder?
You sit back, relax and allow the Lord to speak to your heart as we begin and progress through the service! I do everything, although there are some roles which people are asked to play. (A family to search out the leaven, a woman to light the candles, a child to read a small part, a child to search out the hidden bread and someone to open the door and look for Elijah at the end of the Seder!) In Judaism, the Seder is a serious time of remembrance but it is also a time of joy. During our Seders we laugh, we cry, reflect and even sing a Jewish song which we learn on the spot! It is a wonderful and blessed service, the memories of which will last a lifetime!

What is your favorite part of the Seder?
The Seder is an service full of wonderful moments! I enjoy all of the special moments but my favorite part of the Seder occurs when I see “the light come on” as the Lord reveals something to each person that they have never seen before! There are many such moments in the Seder and they are my joy!

The Four Cups, Matzah and Haggadah!

How many people are required to hold a Seder?
I have held Seders for as many as 250 and as few as 15! The minimum is the number of those who show up and the maximum is the number of folks that you can accomodate to fully experience the event!

How much does it cost to host a Seder?
The cost of a Seder depends on which service is chosen, but all are relatively inexpensive. There are three types of Seders from which to choose!
1. Full Seder– the traditional ceremonial portion of the Seder plus a kosher dinner meal. The cost of this service is the same as the ceremonial meal plus  the cost of preparing the dinner. (All in attendance participate.)
2. Ceremonial Meal– all of the elements of the Seder are included, but no dinner is served. The cost of this service is very reasonable and varies depending  on how many people attend. (All in attendance participate.)
3. Platform Presentation– one table with a few volunteers who partake of the elements of the ceremonial meal, Communion is served to the whole congregation. The cost of this service is nominal.

The Matzah Tosh (Bread Bag)!

How can I schedule a Seder?

Q:  What can we expect from a service with you?
A:   You can expect…
1. …courteous and professional behavior from a minister who has been in ministry since 1981, served 17 years as a Senior Pastor and has traveled with Rock of Israel since 2006!
2. …for Jesus to be the main subject of everything that is shared.
3. …for your people to know more about the Jewish people and how to reach them.
4. …your congregation to be edified.

Q:  What are the financial requirements?

A:  We never request a preset amount but come for a free will offering, trusting the Lord to provide for our needs. Keep in mind that offerings are one of the main ways which we receive to support and carry out our ministry.

Q:  Are there travel expenses?
A: Travel is a big expense for us and the costs aren’t going down! We appreciate any help which a church can provide. If a church chooses to help with travel expenses, we would request that it be with a check with is separate from the offering check.

Q: How long does your presentation last?
A. Depending upon the subject, my part of the service lasts a maximum of 45 minutes, usually less! Passover Seders do take longer, depending on which service is presented.Q:  What denominations have you spoken in?
A:  Rock of Israel speakers have spoken in the following types of churches: Southern Baptist, American Baptist, United Methodist, Assemblies of God, Nazarene, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Cumberland Presbyterian, Free Will Baptist, Pentecostal Church of God, Independent Christian, International Pentecostal Holiness  and non-denominational churches.

While we believe doctrine is very important, our theme is always Jesus and ministry to the Jewish people!

What We Believe…

1. …The Scriptures (both the Old and New Testaments) are Inspired by God and declare His design and plan for mankind.

2. …There is only One True God, revealed in three persons…Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. …In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. As God’s son, Jesus (Yeshua) was both human and divine.

4. …Though originally good, man willingly fell to Sin, ushering evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world.

5. …Every person can have restored fellowship with God Through ‘Salvation’ (trusting Messiah, through faith and repentance, to be our personal Savior).

6. …In (1) Water Baptism by Immersion (a mikveh) after repenting of one’s sins and receiving Messiah’s gift of salvation, and (2) Communion (the Lord’s Supper) as a symbolic remembrance of Messiah’s suffering and death for our salvation.

7. …In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit (Ruach Ha Kodesh) by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a godly life.

8. …In living a Holy Life which commences at Salvation and is not only a declaration that a believer is holy, but also a progressive lifelong process of separating from evil as believers continually draw closer to God and become more like Messiah.

9. …The Body of Messiah has a Mission to seek and save all who are lost in sin. We believe the Body of Messiah consists of the people who, throughout time, have accepted God’s offer of redemption through the sacrificial death of His son, Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus, the Christ).

10. …Divine Healing is a privilege for Believers today and is provided for in Messiah’s atonement. (His sacrificial death on the cross for our sins.)

11. …In the Blessed Hope, when Messiah catches away those who are living for Him! This occurs prior to His Return to Earth (the Second Coming). At this future moment in time all believers who have died will rise from their graves and will meet the Lord in the air, and Believers who are alive will be caught up with them, to be with the Lord forever.

12. …In The Millennial Reign of Messiah when Yeshua (Jesus) returns with His saints at His second coming and begins His benevolent rule over earth for 1,000 years. This millennial reign will bring the salvation of national Israel and the establishment of universal peace.

13. …A Final Judgment Will Take Place for those who have rejected Christ. They will be judged for their sin and consigned to eternal punishment in a punishing lake of fire.

14. …We look forward to the perfect New Heavens and a New Earth that Christ is preparing for all people, of all time, who have accepted Him. We will live and dwell with Him there forever following His millennial reign on Earth.
